Once again, when the thunder started (wasn’t even much of that) I had a 105 pound dog laying ON me.
last time we got storms, i got up to watch. we have one dog that is a rescue and isn't very cuddly, so i was surprised when he jumped up in my lap. It's probably been years since he did that! He is only around half the weight of your dog though!

It depends on who you get your weather from. A lot of the smaller weather guys on FB called this a few days / a week ago, whereas the NWS said we had a 5% chance of tornadoes.

Boy, twitter is full of these things this morning. After a big swing and a miss on that last forecast yesterday/last night was a pretty big outbreak by comparison. We had warnings north and south of us last night but nothing but some rain and lightening here.

    News report says:

NOTE: This story has been updated to reflect that emergency management officials in Randolph County said early Friday that no deaths had been reported in the county, after an earlier report from police indicated that three people had died.)

My fondest childhood memories are from the Lakeview, Ohio area. Spent most summers and all the holidays there at my grandparents house.

Grandpa took my brothers and I to this hardware store when we had each saved enough money to buy our first guns. Sadly, the trailer park across the street looks MUCH worse.

I know Ohio got hit by a big one or two yesterday afternoon. Not sure what happened after that. I remember when one hit my home town a long time ago. It went through a trailer park and there were trailer parts stuck up in trees for a long time.

We got missed on Indys northside Castleton area. it was rocking north of us and south of us but it only drizzled for about 10 minutes at Kips pub. I enjoyed watching it while waiting to play my pool match. There were some amazing lightning strikes.

    This was around 8pm.

The Indian Lake area is made up of some older homes and a lot of trailer parks/campgrounds. Probably fortunate it wasn't tourist season.

I heard a report yesterday during Ryan Hall Y’all that the Taco Bell in Winchester was “leveled to the foundation” and that the adjacent Walmart also suffered damage. Anyone from around there? It also looks like the speedway would have been right in the path. Anyone have any more info from the Winchester area? I’ve checked correlation coefficient data and local storm reports, but the radar sites anren’t ideally located so the data is hard to interpret.
