The Kind of Men Who Carry a Pocket Knife

Not only do I carry a pocketknife every day, but 2 handkerchiefs. I sew double layer hankies myself and have a drawer full of multiple colors and patterns.

Creative way to dry out a crawlspace?

We have spent a lot of money over the last year to make our home easy maintenance/maintenance free. We opted for crawlspace encapsulation with a French drain and moving the sump to an easier access location. It's not cheap but the current state of our crawlspace is not acceptable, wet, moldy...

NICS online is dead in the water...

I picked up a Keltec KS7 today and NICS had an answer within 5-10 minutes for me.

      INGO Small Bussiness Owners

Real Estate Broker. 98% of my business is from foreclosures. We had a slowdown a little over a year ago and it started picking up again. Things have been pretty steady but no where near our top of a few years ago. Foreclosures and evictions are on hold with current cash for keys going forward...

PSA - if you have a push to start car

Some cars have a space under the cup holder mat to place a dead key fob and it allows you to start the car

      NRA Convention

Didn't see this posted but I might have missed it. Don JR was in Montgomery County for a Turkey hunt and breakfast in Crawfordsville before heading to Indy. https://thepaper24-7.com/MobileContent/Home/Home/Article/Don-Jr-visits-Crawfordsville/-2/-2/68301

      Ruger Mini 30

$709.99 and no sales tax. It's still showing that price on their website. I found a few used ones around the country for a little less but every new one I could find was over $800 and many were approaching $1000

      Ruger Mini 30

Just read some reviews on the Vortex Sparc 2 and that just might be what I'm looking for. Thanks. I am considering a new stock mostly for options of mounting accessories. Anyone have suggestions?

      Ruger Mini 30

Picked up a Mini 30 at Big R on sale and during their no sales tax on Firearms week (still going). Best deal I could find, even for a used rifle. So I'm interested in hearing how any owners here have dressed theirs up or modified theirs for looks and performance. Tell me what you have please.

      CBD oil

I suffer from Rheumatoid Arthritis and I tried CBD oil for 4 weeks. I did sleep better and it helped with anxiety but it did nothing for pain relief. I was hopeful but for me it wasn't worth the cost.

      WTB: Ruger Mini 30

Big R currently has these on sale for $709.99 with a regular price of $769. These are the model with 5 round magazines and are only in stock in Illinois. I am having one shipped to my local store. Best price I can find for new anywhere and better price than most used that I can find

Taxes, taxes, taxes and LESS TAXES... wait, what?!?!?

Due to illness our income decreased by 23%. We changed nothing in withholding. We usually owe both state and federal at tax time. This year we are receiving a substantial refund from federal and enough from state to pay our accountant for filing. I haven't had the time or energy to figure our...

Trooper in deadly Montgomery County shooting identified, but questions remain

There is certainly room for conjecture as not all facts are known. But outright false statements, reordering the timeline, and omission are not helpful. Most of all, I want to learn as much as possible about what really happened so I can save myself and my family from having to experience a...

Trooper in deadly Montgomery County shooting identified, but questions remain

There was a woman who commented that she and her husband had slowed down as they were passing the scene as the shots were fired. I believe she stated 4 shots. It's a Facebook comment and nothing more as far as we know
