      RRA Upper wait time.

      rra Good luck, My buddy placed an order from them for an LAR-308 on 4/25/2012 and was told 100-120 days for delivery. Then on 9/24/2012 got notice that it would be the end or first of the year before he will get it. He is not happy with them!

      Great story !!! He better put some preserative on it so it can be passed down from generation to generation. We have a family friend who's Great Great Grandfather captured a Union soldier and kept his Colt 1860 Army revolver holster and all but they have never put anything on it to preserve it...

      M1 Garand

      I bought 2 15 years ago, one for me and one for my son. Both are Springfield Armory. His is june 1945 manufacture and mine a March 1953 with the original barrel still on it and a perfect bore. Unfortunatley due to unemployment I have to sell mine.:(

      11-87 problem

      Remove trigger group and ensure the "wishbone" is seated in the piston area in the rear stock. I use long nose needle nose pliars to seat them properly.

      Hornady vmax ammo is what caused the damage to the Remington 700 in my prior posting. As I said they made all well in regards to my friend.

      kaboom My friend recently had the same problem with a Remington model 700 in .223 while shooting vmax ammo. The ammo manufacturer took the blame for the overcharged cartridge and is making all things right for him also by fixing his rifle, replacing his ammo and the luckily minor damage to him.

      What good AR15s are available for $700 or under

      I bought a Olympic arms K-15 with the 16" bull barrel then popped a tactical scope on it. It's a real accurate weapon. Cost $680.00 at Bradis guns in Camby, In. Ordered the scope thru Cheaper than Dirt $79.00. I'm real happy with it.
