2017 Indiana Single Stack Production State Championship

Becky and Daniel are great folks. Am proud of the hard work they put into all they do. Also proud to be a small part of this match. Notice that Becky got top billing in this. Because she has to do all that she does and keep Daniel in check. We who know them know this to be true.

      2015 Indiana USPSA Championship

First off thanks to Mike and Eric for baby setting my old a$$. I have no dog in the discussion of scoring. So I will let that alone. I told Jake three years ago I had one big match left. And now I have to say I am done. Loved working a match like ours. Have shared ownership of it with some of...

      2015 Indiana USPSA Championship

How many of you working the match have looked at the stages. And said I will take that one. Nope don't want that one. And wondered if Jake will take a bribe. Or just take the money and still run your a$& off. Like he always does. Just asking.

      2015 Indiana USPSA Championship

I can vouch for riverman 67. We are both too computer ignorant to be trusted to keep score electronically. Two fat fingered old men holding the outcome of the match in our hands. This should never happen. Jeff you owe me a dollar.

      ICORE @ Atlanta CC 6-21-15

She has several choices. She likes the glock. That might change with time. The issue today was looking at the target not the sights. And a huge flinch as the day went on.

A big thanks to Kyle and crew. And a bigger thanks to all. For helping my grand daughter shoot her first big gun match. Could not have asked for better folks.

      Bob Vogel 2 day class

I dry fired tonight for the first time in years. I felt the pinch in the web of my hand that told me I was higher on the gun than normal. And I tried to meet the gun closer to my body to get a little farther forward on the gun. When I dropped down the par time it got harder to be smooth. But I...

      Bob Vogel 2 day class

The truth always hurts more than a lie. Try being old and fat sometime and get back to me.

      Bob Vogel 2 day class

The grip Bob uses is huge for me. Anyone my age finds that things tend to hurt a bit more. The strength of youth has slipped a bit. The change will take some work but what change doesn't. I rediscovered the need to move with purpose and to drive to the edge and back off just slightly. Also the...

What makes a good club level stage?

You have to give each and every shooter the same stage. A nine foot transition is not the same as a three foot transition. It is just math. All of the shooting sports I have participated in have the same mantra. A level playing field for all.

What makes a good club level stage?

I enjoyed your company as well. I have quoted you on many occasions so fair is fair.

What makes a good club level stage?

I like a stage that has a mix of long and hoser shots. Draw into a single plate at 15 plus yards and off to the races. With some mid range targets mixed in to mess with your splits. Club matches are practice with witnesses. So mix it up and learn your weaknesses. And as others have said step and...
