      Rural king has the DPMS oracle for less than 600 bucks complete. I have a build that I used an oracle upper on, and it works great. I would try to talk them into building a lower and buying an upper, you learn a LOT about how an AR works by assembling the lower, and it makes life easier later...

      The wife and I are considering getting into the polymer 9mm game, and we both really like the feel of the Walther PPQ. Is there anyone in the area that would let us try shooting one?       Hi-Point customer service

      Highpoints really are the moped of the shooting world. I have NEVER heard of someone being dissapointed with highpoint customer service. Often times a serviced gun is sent back with an extra mag or two.

      Some people like to wade in from the shallow end, others like to jump right in on the deep end. Your doing good. You cannot look at the short term when analyzing costs for your 650. Pay attention to your process and enjoy!

      DPMS oracle is a lightweight basic upper, and works well. It is cheap, and gets you into the game. Once you beat the heck out of it, and find out what you want/do not want in a run and gun AR, then spend some real cash on a higher end upper half.
