Correct. two differences. 1) the hammer pin was increased in diameter on one end and 2) the slide was milled to receive this larger pin.
The mags are no different from the F and the FS. The original 92 with the "heel" mag release mags won't work, however.

I would have been either a combat or a stock. if SA/DA it was a combat, if SA it was a stock. They had the equivalent of a Brig "D" slide with, as you note, a conical bushing and the locking retainer nut.
