Need Help Please with Gewehr 88

Great. I was also using this website as a reference in my research. So were these guns used by German troops and then given to the Turks or were they unused surplus that was given to them. Thanks again guys. Just trying to understand the history on this thing a little bit better.

The other unit markings are as follows. 91.r.12.127 and 39.r.r.388. I found a site that had the codes and what they meant. But the E said it was eisen bahn or if it was used with another letter it meant ersatz. But I'm not sure it this pertains to this unit issue or not. From what I have read...

Help! I have a water softener problem.

I went down 34 inches which is what is recommended in the manual. I feel like there are still solid spots but I can get to the bottom in many other places. Would it be a waste of time removing all the salt?

Help! I have a water softener problem.

I have made sure it is not bypassed, and checked the settings. I have not done a test kit yet I I guess that should be my next step. Thanks

      I was cooking eggs when...

Great job by yourself and IMPD. Glad everyone is safe and the bad guys were caught. I have a friend that lives over that way who has had two home invasions. fortunately both times the bad guys were unarmed and were scared out of the house with very little loot. Stay safe.

      Pocket Pistol Carry Question.

I am looking into a LCP or LC9 and have been wondering the same things. I would want to carry with one chambered but do not feel that having an exposed trigger is the safest thing. I know the trigger pull is long but it still doesn't seem to safe to me.
