      10 Year Old's First Shooting

I had the honor of going with a friend to take his 10 year old son out for his first time shooting. The son though the .40 Sigma was ok he really likes the new-to-me CZ P07 9mm. Here's one minute of video. http://youtu.be/80dlUQgkPs0

      10mm

There is a school of thought (I attend some times) that the 10mm is an ideal keep-in-the-car-gun. If you ever have to do armed battle between (or with) a car a big heavy bonded 10mm bullet has some positive features. I'm more likely to face an angry Honda than I am an angry Kodiak.

      Anti-seize use on Suppressors

I need another option on the poll: "I use it on the threads and baffles and then get it all over my hands, my bench, the outside of the barrel and my shirt."

Looking for a Glock Plastic Surgeon

I agree - is the goal to make an "Officer Length" or "Commander Length" Glock? My personal opinion is the 19-sized guns are the red-headed stepchildren of the three original sizes. If I need a gun I take the 17/22 if I need a little gun I take the 26/27. Don't get me started on these...

      Happily Lost A Gun Today

My lovely bride has been carrying a Kel-Tec P32 because it fit her hand and the recoil was tolerable. One of my favorite pocket guns is my P238 Sig SAS - I recently starting using the +1 magazine from Sig that has a pinky rest. I had her try the P238 in her hand last night with the extended...

Worst new gun you have owned

Kel-Tech 9mm - the first one (P11?). Put the special grease on the rails and the rubber pencil eraser behind the trigger to limit the nasty overtravel and still could have done better throwing the pistol at the target. Runner up - Kel-Tech Sub 9 (original one) - it ran just fine but it was...

Trip to Chicago, what to do without a firearm?

I am forced to visit Kalifornia regularly and I always carry my United Cutlery Tactical pen. I toss it in my carry-on and once through security clip it to the neck of my polo shirt. It makes a nice pen too.
