I agree and understand how hard it is to carry a full size 1911. I carry mine IWB and it is still difficult. But I guess I don't fully think that it is going to be concealed anyways. I have been surprised how many people I run into that are just curious about it.
I have open carried a couple of times but I usually don't because it does draw attention. For instance one time i was carrying my Glock 19 concealed at wal-mart and decided to open carry because I was uncomfortable from the talon grips rubbing my side raw and the only problem I had was a guy...
all of the gun shops I go to don't care if you carry loaded. Most of them open carry while they work anyways, and i think it would be a little hypocritical if they said something to you about it.
huntington arms suppressors are very quite, but I am thinking of getting the silencerco sparrow .22lr suppressor for my walther p22. I is a decent little mono core with a sleeve around the core inside of the tube. It looked very easy to clean.
For me the 1911 platform fits in my hand perfectly and being a heavier handgun it has lower recoil and allows me to shoot very well and you can't beat the firepower :)
These are a couple of my favorites. Both are really great shops with great customer service and friendly people.

Nice purchase!! If you ever get another one for it to play with check out MC Sports. I got mine from there for 79.99 with all matching numbers, hex receiver, good bore, and made in 1926.. great condition!
I totally agree with this, I bought one recently and it is a awesome little shooter that is extremely comfortable to shoot because of the customizable back straps and low recoil. I'm going to let my fiance carry this when she gets her LTCH. If you do get the P22, it shoots the Winchester 555...
I agree that it is ok to carry in a bar, but its not recommend to do so while drinking. That may cause some problems. People do stupid things when they are drunk
Yea my friend had one of the full size RIA and he also liked it a lot. I am just wondering if they are as good in the smaller version. Thank you for your help!
Hi all, I am need of some help deciding what would be the better choice between 3 in models of 1911's. I really like Springfield for their quality, customer service and decent priced 1911's, but they seem to be incredibly hard to find in the 3in model. I like the RIA one because it is a lower...
I CC my 1911 cocked and locked all the time. It is legal to carry how ever you want to in Indiana. One time I OC in the middle of Wal-Mart during Black Friday and the only problem I had was one of the customers asked how old I had to be to carry in Indiana because he was from Michigan and didn't...
Hello I heard about this site a while back from a friend and decided to join after looking through some of the threads that were full of a lot of good information. I currently own four weapons, Remington 1911 R1, Walther P99 9mm AS, Walther P22, and the old 91/30 1926 Mosin Nagant. Thanks and I...
