      Age for transporting a firearm

I did search for this, but didn't find anything helpful.. I know a LTCH is not needed to transport a firearm if its is in the trunk. I live in Indiana. Is there an age requirement for transporting a firearm in a car? I would have it in the trunk. Does it differ if its a hand gun/long gun?
