      Revolver Cleaning

      I always wipe the power burns on the front of the cylinder and clean the forcing cone. The cone can be a hard clean if left for a while.

      Hiviz Red Front Sight and 686+

      Thanks for the replies! I think I'm 95% sure I going to try the Hiviz front sight. I'll kept the ramp front sight in case the Hiviz sight does not hold up to my leather holster. Any suggestions on who would do a good job replacing the front sight? Thanks! jl-scott :):

      Thanks for all the great replys everybody. I got my 3" 686+ with the hardwood grips today. I will clean it up and take it the range this weekend. Now to start saving for the leather holster. :)

      Hi INGO members, At the 1st of the year I had to sell my S&W 686 4" revolver to take care of a family issue. I just about have enough money to replace it, but I have a question. The 4" is a great all round revolver, but should I maybe replace it with a 3" 686 is case I need to conceal carry it...

      Thanks to all for the great replys to my question. I think I will stick with the TW25B and Breakfree that I have been using for the last couple of years. I use the breakfree for cleaning and oiling and the TW25B on the rails and even on my AR15 BCG rails. I like the way the TW25B stays in place...
