I have loaded 158 berry's in 9mm cases. No real difference to 147 grain. There can be some problems with some pistols that have a short chamber. S&W M&P is shorter than most.
Checking the load data in post #7 against the Accurate loading manual #1.
Some of the loads for Accurate #7 and #9 are for 10mm Magnum which is a longer case than 10mm Auto
1.255" compared to 0.992"
Check with current load data since Accurate was bought out.
I have progressive lenses for quite a few years now. The current perscription is good for pistol shooting with open sights.
The lenses are Crizal by Zeiss. They are called digital correction. Getting the transition point just right for front sight focus is very important.

If you are loading for a specific pistol, try measuring max length.
Drop a bullet only into the barrel, measure from the hood to the back of the bullet.
Then measure the bullet length. Add the measurements to determine max length for your pistol.
It may be longer than max length listed for the...

I don't think paranoid is the correct word. Just observant.
The lyman and lee are different bullets. Which do you have?
Or do you have an unknown?
The way to measure the max OAL for your barrel is to drop a bullet into
the barrel. Measure the distance to the back of the bullet.
Measure the...
This company is a local manufacturer.
They have a good selection of steel targets.
Here is their dueling tree for rifles. They have a kit if you can weld.

One thing that helped on my Chrono (PACT) was white translucent plastic above the photo sensors
That makes the light more uniform. My chrono has separate sensors from the readout device.
Without the plastic mine had better results on cloudy days. Bright sun with a clear sky was a problem.
My chrono results with 4.5grain 231 were 864fps average with a 6 inch barrel.
230 grain 45 with 4.5grain 231 was 679.
I think the amount of light on your skyscreens is the problem.
try a 22 pistol or rifle should get about 1050 pistol 1250 for rifle.
I haven't used night sights until I acquired a SIG P365.
Not long after I got the gun I had a night time intruder in the backyard.
The "running" possum at 40' illuminated by just some outside lights no flashlight was an easy
shot with night sights.
Definitely worth it for felonious possums.
