So I think I will go with leaving the front sight on. What do you guys think of the Sightmark holographic sights. I just don't have the money to invest in an Eotech and I am not sure that is the style of optic that I want. I have also been looking at the Vortex Strikefire. There seems to be...
Lets say magnified but I have not made up my mind. I am still exploring all options. I was thinking if I did remove the front sight that I might add a fold down front sight as a backup.
I saw many things I would have liked to buy at a decent price but nothing that I could not live without or find at a local gun shop. I did walk away with one of the magnets so I can keep a gun on the back of my nightstand for home defense. I was happy with that purchase.
I am still new to owning my AR. It is a S&W MP-15. It has a fixed front sight and flip up rear sight. I have already made a few changes such as replacing the handguards for a quad rail and the replacing the pistol grip. Now I want to mount either a holographic or red-dot sight. The best way...
SOLD
I have a Chinese made Norinco SKS Sporter. Looking to sale this and purchase an AR-15. This is the one that takes the AK mags. It comes with two magazines, a 5 round and a 30 round. I also have about 100 rounds of Wolf ammo to include. I am located in Anderson and would agree to a FTF...
I hear that there is a Gun Show in Muncie next weekend. Anyone else hear about that?
I went to the Alexandria Gun Show today and was not impressed. I guess it may have been a bit better on Saturday.
Was also wondering if there is a specific section for gun shows. If not, has it been...
Alexandria Conservation Gun Club
Had anyone heard of or been to the this range. I just drove by it today after leaving the Worlds Largest Ball of Paint. This is close to my new home and may want to check it out.
Thanks
I may have to check this out. I am not going to be able to make it to the 1500 this weekend. Does anyone know if show has a pretty good turn out as far as vendors go!
Just bought a Henry Lever action rifle in .17HMR. We will be giving it to him for his birthday in about 2 weeks and hope to get it to the range the week after. Everything that I have read seems to indicate that it is a nice round. My brother said they were shooting over 200 yards with them...
I am looking forward to having range time with my two daughters as they get older. I bought them a Pink BB rifle this year, so I could begin to train them on the basics of gun safety. They are 7 and 9 years old. I think they still have a little time before I put a real gun in there hands but...
Winamac Fish and Wildlife Area
Had the chance to check out the Winamac Fish and Wildlife Area this weekend. I was really happy with the facilities there. They had a 25, 50, 100 and 200 yrd range. Each of the ranges had tables with a roof over them. I was really suprised by how nice and...
I own both the Bersa 380 and the S&W Bodyguard 380. I love both guns. The Bersa is more accurate and a bit more reliable at a longer range. The Bodyguard was very nice to shoot. I have bug hands and didn't care for the Ruger LCP. The Bodyguard seems much more comfortable. I carry the Bersa...
Finally got out to the range to try out the Bodyguard 380. The gun shot very smoothly. I only put about 75 rounds through it. Some people complain about the 380s hurting after shooting them some, but I didn't experience any problem with that. I was a little disapointed with my accuracy...
I hav enever been a fan of Glocks but if I could get some of them painted like that in different colors that would be pretty cool.
P.S. I have never heard of Ninja Glock before, but that was one heck of a video.
Great discussions for far. I agree that I need to try other holsters for the Bersa and my Smith & Wesson 9mm. I just haven't had a lot of opportunity to try out different types and I hate the idea of buying a holster that I will not end up using. Especially since they can cost $50 and up...
