Just emailed my House and Senate reps. Also, emailed Sheriff Quakenbush from Hamilton County to thank him for his support. He did a great interview over the weekend with Guy and testified last week in support of HB1369.
Thinking about an LCR, looking for recommendation on going with the 38 or 357 so I have the option to step up. Also, considering the 9mm version just to keep ammo simple. Any suggestions?
I keep going back to my Serpa as well. Modified the paddle hook so it goes on and off easier. Also picked up the Velcro back plate for one so I can mount the Serpa in a bag. Feel like most of the ND I see are more technique/skill vs hardware related.
Work from home most of the time but have found I get the most work email done when stuck on a plane. Thinking about trading my home office for an uncomfortable chair I barely fit in with a desk the size of a small breadboard. Should put my productivity through the roof
Use the talon rubberized grips on every gun I want to hold on to. :D I had issues with the factory glock grip chaffing but the talon grips took care of it and it feels like a better grip.
If you are looking to get a Glock check out Gssf. With a 2 year membership you can get blue label pricing once a year. The price difference between G3 and G4 become fairly minimal. Personally I prefer the G4 grip.
LCP or P3AT in a Talon wallet holster. Rides in my back pocket better than my wallet, even when I have something else on my belt. At NRA show got the chance to meet one of the owners of Talon, I knew it was great product, now I know it is a great company too.
Wrapping up the Hamilton county program in the next couple of weeks. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to learn more about Emergency Management. So far they have not gone deep into any topic but have given a good overview. We've done some hands on labs that help reinforce the content. Never...
I work downtown, across from the mall and head there for lunch all the time. Would be interested to see a legal interpretation on this. Most the restaurants and hotels downtown are connected to the mall physically or by hallways, tunnels, or sky bridges like the arts garden. This includes the...
Visually it is very appealing to me, like a work of art. However, I questioned how practical it would be as well, that was the main reason for the post. I have been playing with the cross draw on the mag theory a little that was mentioned above, but seem to have a front loaded body shape that...
I haven't gotten a quote yet but based on some previous items I have asked about I'm betting ~$150. Expensive but some things are worth it. At least that's what my wife told me with the last purse she brought home.
Looking at getting a leather holster from Jackson Leatherworks. I have always loved his work and just want something a little nicer than kydex every once in a while. I came across the following combo holster pic that has a mag holder in front of the pistol. Looks great but not sure how...
I had a similar situation at Walmart the other day. The guy next to me at the ammo counter was carrying a 17 in one of the cheap leather iwb holsters from Amazon. However, he had it as a left hand owb appendix holster. Never said anything but was wondering how long until his gun fell on the...
