      Don't know if you ever got it, but if you set a hdd password, clearing the CMOS is useless, you need to get rid of that hdd password, which is stored in the firmware, or a firmware-only section of a platter of the hdd. Best idea would be to set it to blank, if not, put it in another computer...

      A run cap on a working motor should discharge through the motor windings when power is removed, only start caps should hold any energy, and then only if the bleed resistor is missing. Still not a bad practice, but usually unneeded

      Only those who have a legally registered firearm in DC can own ammo, or even spent brass. If you ever visit, make sure you don't have any spent brass in your coat pockets, I believe they got someone for having it in their backpack or something like that

      Fells Naptha, or Acetone to get the oil off. Methylprednisolone dose packs are great for if you have it over a larger area

      I got them to beat an Illinois chain store's price on a 10/22, in Merrillville. They simply called the other store, got the price, and beat it. I know that's probably not standard protocol, but it doesn't hurt to ask

      Did you follow the guide at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/KVM? If so, where did you have trouble? I referred to the guide extensively when using archLinux, which, although a lot of the implementation was different, used the same underlying principles, libraries, and binaries

      If you're only looking for a domain controller and file server, why not look into installing samba4 on your ubuntu server? Free, and will act as a primary domain controller with little issues. I have run KVM on a linux host, but used a linux guest as well, just took a little mucking around...
