      War Lock, thoughts?

Was a moderator. I am OK with what he told me. I explained in PM that I wasn't trying to advertise, but linking to product because I had no other way to describe it since I was not term literate of what it does/function/parts. Said post name of product without linking to company as there are...

Long time lurker, seldom poster, and novice and many things. I recently was introduced to a product called the War Lock which allows the user to switch calibers on an AR platform without tools. (google it, I was told no linking). It looked interesting and appealing and seemed based on promo...

      new to gardening.

Planting densly and using companion planting in combination with the mulch is the best solution I have found. That being said, one of my gardens is completely overrun at the moment. Funny that corn gluten is a growth inhibitor. Makes you wonder what it does to us when we eat it.

      Permaculture

I have not personally looked into Blue-Green algae as a food source. I did investigate and research an algae that could be grown and used as a bio-fuel. There is a variety that you can convert into Bio-diesel. The main problem I found here in Indiana is the seasons. You only get a certain amount...

      Planting trees

From a permaculture perspective it is all relative to where the elevations and water flows now on the property are. Where are the winds from the summer, from the winter? It also depends on what else is around you. Looks like open field. You may want to think about wind breaks for straight line...

      Planting trees

DNR have nice bundles. Like a nut tree bundle (maybe 25 trees). Rule of thumb generally is plant trees with months that have an "R" in them. However I buy my fruiting trees at 50-75% off. Worth it, if you like risk, and chances until May-June. Most big box stores clearance the trees out. You...
