I don't agree. I don't bring up the car argument, I just try to counter it. I also point out, despite all the regulations and laws, more people still die because of cars. Despite all the laws and checkpoints looking for drunk drivers, they still slip through and kill people. Despite all the...

Drivers licensing is a cinch compared to gun licensing. Yes, they try to bring up that cars need registered and insured and then I point out that cars still kill more people than guns. Sure, car titles have to be transferred if you do it legally, but there is still a thriving market for stolen...

This is what I was getting at. But, of course, some states like CA have emissions and their own standard equipment standards. Yet, they are still polluted and people die on their highways. In CA you can't modify your car unless it has a CARB stamp, but people do it anyway. Of course the...

I want to know what you think about it. Of course, now that I've had more time to think on it I have a lot to add to it, but I think it does well on it's own. If we can tweak it, I plan to save it in a text file so I can copy/paste it as a standard reply to the liberal argument that we should...

Evansville Teen shoots mom outside Target

I wasn't aware you needed a permit to carry in your own car. Accident? Yeah, she wouldn't get him that Xbox he wanted.

      Indiana B.M.V. Yes or No?

I had a Madison County Deputy try to eject me from the library in Anderson once because I was carrying. I stood my ground and calmly/tactfully explained to him why he was wrong. He relented (after spending half a hour looking through the code) and I stayed. I've also had a BMV employee in...

No guns or weapons at Dennys at 70 and post

I eat at the one in Daleville nearly every week, my son likes the place. We've been going there for at least two years and just this summer they moved the sign from behind the counter to the front door. So far, they haven't asked me to leave and they knew I was armed long before they moved the...

Legally Armed? Get a Free Coffee

You can open carry in TN with a permit, right? Otherwise, there would be a lot of shirt-lifting going on too expose hair beer guts.

Local Wal-Mart no longer selling Ar-15s

They apparently aren't carrying rifle or pistol ammo, either. At least it is gone from the Anderson WAl-Mart now.

Anatomy of a SWATting;how one agency does it right.

I'm guessing the prior history on these gamers is zero.

Anatomy of a SWATting;how one agency does it right.

I was under the impression that a phone call or report alone was not considered reasonable suspicion. Anyone can call and report something, but unless the officers see evidence of wrong-doing themselves, wouldn't they need a warrant to enter a property?

      Unmarked cars and police?encounter

Sure, but his reasoning behind it wasn't sound. He only ordered her out because she didn't (and wasn't legally obligated too) roll the window down all the way. Since he got so upset about the window, I wouldn't feel safe getting out of the car either.

      Unmarked cars and police?encounter

There was no legal obligation for her to roll the window down. With all the police violence in the news, I wouldn't feel safe rolling the window down. The officer wanted the window down citing 'officer safety' and then puts his hand in the window. Really smart. Just roll the window down...

      Traveling to Ohio.

I'm just going to look at a car, so no bars anyway. I've been in a bar once in the last 15 years and only because I was the DD. I did remember signs carry the weight of law, that one is stupid, hard to forget.

      Unmarked cars and police?encounter

There is a woman that did something like that. She was issued a ticket and had her window down about three inches. The officer didn't want to hand the ticket through the gap, citing 'officer safety' but she didn't want to roll the window down more. He stuck his hand in (not the ticket, his...

      Traveling to Ohio.

I know we recently got reciprocity but wanted to be certain they didn't change anything else since I open-carry. I know about the duty-to-inform law as well but don't know if Ohio is a stop and identify state or if I have any legal obligation to show the LTCH "just because".

      I liked it.

It is comical how he says ignorance gets enough attention and them prattles on about how our soldiers are overseas serving our country and protecting our freedom and then goes on to encourage you to commit vandalism and/or assault. See, burning your own flag is okay, it is yours, but burning...

For the Anderson Citizens, I'm running for city council at large.

Were you going to ask me what district I was running for?

Maybe I should change it, no one would forget that!
