Need some feed back on my way of thinking for home defense

I get a little lost in situations like yours. You say you have a house alarm. Does that mean your alarm goes to a central station, or merely sound an alarm only you can here? In my area, we get very fast police response, and it is low crime. My concern, is to know exactly where my family is...

      Uncommon revolver experience

I am with TWalker Don't own a Chiappa Rhino. I never will own anything made by Chiappa. I to have a Chiappa 22lr pistol. Any company who makes something this bad, should be out of business. I don't see how they could make anything of quality, when they put their name on pistols like their...

Just bought my first "pocket" revolver

Sold Mine I sold my Kahr CM9 about a year ago. It was a big mistake. Totally reliable, easy to carry. What was I thinking of?

      Kahr CM9 opinions?

Very reliable, good fit and finish. Easy to carry, 9mm power. OK accuracy, but VERY difficult to shoot for all but experienced shooters. I would recommend the CW9, as their is more gun to grab hold of.

What to gunsmith on a Bersa .380

I have a Bersa Thunder 380. It has around 1200-1400 rounds through it, with NO issues of any kind. I have shot at least 6 different kinds of FMJ and hollow point ammo. I would contact Bersa, and tell them of your problem. My advise would be to not fool with it. I have had lots of guns, many...

CCW 9mm - Options to consider?

I have a Kahr CM9. It is very reliable, and easy to break down. I have seen the prices fall to as low as $329. I will tell you, that I found it a hard gun to shoot accurately. I am not a novice shooter, but it is what it is. I would purchase the CW9 if I had to do it over again.

      Rossi Worth A Chance

I have a Rossi 22lr revolver, that is about three years old. It has between 4500 and 5000 rounds through it. I have had no problems with it what so ever, that was not directly ammo related. Because of this good history, I am thinking of buying a Rossi R35202 38 snub nose. I understand it is a...

tell me about naa mini revolvers

I had one in 22 Mag, just sold it. These guns are very well made, and NAA has excellent customer service. I just wish they had some real purpose. Other than being "cool", they have no real purpose in my opinion. Why not get a 380 or pocket 9mm? Maybe some genius sharp shooter could actually hit...

It is summer again, thinking of small 9mm

For me it is the Kahr CW9. Light weight, small but not that small. Believe it or not, I have a friend who won't trade his Taurus PT 709 for anything. I had a shield, but it just wasn't for me. I had no problems with it.

      Taurus Customer Service

OK, I will put in my 2 cents about Taurus customer service. I have three Taurus products, and have only had a minor problem with one. I had sent them a letter about my problem, and received a call from them tonight. They listened to me, they were very polite, and they are sending me a new...

Mine's smaller than yours. And I'm fine with it!

I've shot a lot of firearms. I have found that I hit what I am at, with my Bersa Thunder 380. I just don't shoot anything near as well as the Bersa. For me, number of rounds, power of the round ect., doesn't matter as much as HITTING WHAT I AIM AT. I load mine up with Corbon ammo, and feel...

I'm interested in the Chiappa Rhino... anyone have one?

I do not own one. I do own a Chiappa 22lr pistol. It is without a doubt, the biggest piece of junk I have ever purchased. I find it hard to believe, that a company that makes my pistol, could possibly make anything of value. But then again like I said, I do not own one.

What's a normal number of failures to extract?

Of course, zero is the number you are going for. HOWEVER, I have a Bersa Thunder 380, that has had one failure to eject in 1200 rounds. I was using CCI Aluminum at the time and the failure was at around 600 rounds. I never used CCI Aluminum again, and have had NO failures of any kind since...

      Woman's review of a Bersa Thunder .380

OK, I am not a woman. However, I have a Bersa Thunder 380, that I purchased in 2007. It is accurate and unbelievably reliable. I have recently sold some of my firearms. When people ask me about my Bersa, I always tell them that the Bersa is not for sale. I would think for a lady, they would be...

      Bikes and guns

I use a belly band holster with a strap that holds the gun in place. Not the best for quick draw, but you won't loose the pistol either.

      More...interesting...ideas from Taurus

I have three Taurus products. I have a Rossi 22lr revolver, a Pt 22 and a Pt 738. I have roughly 3900 rounds through the Rossi, 250 rounds through the Pt22 and at least 450 rounds through the Pt 738. I have never had one issue with any of them, except two definitely ammo related issues in the...

Recommendations - .22 Pistol that will cycle sub-sonic ammo

Not Mine My SR22 will not work with anything but high velocity 22lr. I have heard that they will work with sub-sonics, but not mine. This also applies to a friends SR22. Neither has a threaded barrel.
