      WTB: Marlin 60

I have been thinking about getting a different .22 rifle. I have been going back and forth between a 10/22 and a Marlin 60. I think the 60 is the way I want to go. If anyone is looking to unload one that is in good shape, let me know. Jason

      Marlin 60

Thanks. That is what I figured with the little bit of research I have done.

Can you get a Marlin 60 with a threaded barrel for a suppressor?

      Civilian Marksmanship Program

I am interested in picking up a M1 Garand. I am looking into the CMP. It appears that you have to be a member of of a CMP affiliated organization in order to qualify to purchase from them. I am looking for some suggestions on good clubs that are easy to join in north east Indiana. My main...

      WTB: M1 Garand

This may be a long shot, but I am looking to pick up a M1 Garand. I am interested in one that is in good shape for shooting. Clean bore, etc... I am looking to pick one up that I can enjoy at the range.

      case length question with .223

After resizing, I measured again. I think they expanded a little. Most were now in the 1.750 to 1.759 range.

      case length question with .223

Ok. I had not yet decapped or resized them. That makes sense.

      case length question with .223

I am just getting started loading .223. I bought some factory rounds which I shot. I am getting set up to reload that brass. I am inspecting the cases and I measured them for case length. The vast majority are measuring less then the 1.76 inches that my reloading manual calls for. I am...

      9mm opinions

One of the first handguns I purchased was a Taurus 917C. It never really turned into a gun I have enjoyed. I have maybe put 500 rounds through it. I am thinking of selling/trading it for a different 9mm. I plan on doing much more homework this time around. I am curious to hear others input...

      Cleaning brass

So after I tumble my brass with crushed walnut media, it seems like they have a dust film on them. I have never really worried about it with my pistol brass. I am just starting to venture into loading .223 and I am wondering if there is anything I need to do to clean off the dust before...

      Cycling issue with my AR

So, I thought I would circle back to this post. I was finally able to get back out to the range earlier this afternoon. I shot through 140 rounds of factory ammo. My AR cycled flawlessly through every single round. So, I believe that puts to rest the debate over what my issue was...

      Shotshell reloading

I am working on getting set up to reload 12g shotshell. I am looking for a good manual for setting up loads. What manuals do you all recommend?

      Turkish Mauser head space

I just purchased a 1937 Turkish Kaiser. The guy/dealer whom I picked it up from said he has not fired it. My question is, do I need to check the head space before firing it? If so, I would assume that there are gauges available?

      Build vs. Buy: AR-15

I agree. But I find that is off set by the satisfaction of doing the project yourself. If you are not in a hurry, then I would prefer to build just because I like the challenge and the sense of accomplishment.
