      I been shootin 40+ years...I've always heard don't dry fire. When I was a kid I did with a couple single shot shotguns,broke em both. I also know how the firing pin on a .22 will dent the chamber face. I got an old Stevens Dbl barrel and it has internal hammers and cocks when it's broke...

      I'm gonna be refinishing a MAK-90 soon and the thing has edges on the metal that will cut a person...did me. Whats the best way to break the edges? I been thinking of using a small file or stones....anyone done this?

      How well does steel-cased .308 run in bolt actions (Indian Enfield)?

      A long time ago I had a Spanish Mauser re-barreled to .308...I bought some surplus 7.62 and had a bunch of problems getting the case out of the bore. I thought the rifle was messed up until I tried some .308,it worked just fine.

      The thing I do need is a buttplate....I hate the rubber recoil pad. I'm gonna take pics when I do this,it's not hard with the right tools. I worked at a place that made fiberglass parts for big trucks and motor homes.

      Thanks,I havent been on for awhile. It's a stock MAK 90 thumbhole stock. The wood doesn't have any oil soaked into it so if the woods rough the glass will bond nicely.       Paint for Fiberglass

      I'm thinking about rebuilding/reshaping the stock and handguards for a MAK-90 using fiberglass. Anyone know of a good finish in a spray can that works on fiberglass? I'm hoping to also refinish the metal soon. Anyone know offhand what 30rd AK mags are going for? I have "several". Thanks.
