      filling primer tubes

I thought it would be cool to build. My son got a 3D printer for Christmas and we have had fun coming up with several new parts to simplify some things with reloading and other projects.

      filling primer tubes

I found some plans on line of a 3D printed primer filler using a $7 speed controller, $4 vibration motor and a 9 volt battery. My son has a printer so time permitting I'm going to try and get him to print the pieces and try to put it together by the weekend.

      Seriously wimpy, slow loads!

I am wanting to try this same load. The Lee manual shows HP-38 and Win 231(which I'm told are the same) as 3.1-3.7gr. for 158gr lead bullet @ 834fps . The Hornady manual has Win 231 as 3.2-4.4 gr and a 158gr LRN bullet with 4.1 at 800fps. Are these bullets comparable for the printed data? I read...

Pull Tab Can of Ammo from Global Ordnance

Would ammo cans seal well enough to throw in a desiccant pack for the humidity and an oxygen absorber to remove the oxygen?

      ammo storage

I would think you would be ok as long as you don't have rapid temperature changes but the desiccant pack should help. I read the the desiccant pack is no longer good after it weighs 1.35 times it's original weight.

      Gunsmith

A friend of mine just purchased a S&w 9mm M&P 2.0 without a safety but now wants a safety and saw that it can be added to the gun. Does anyone have any recommendations as to who could add this for him on the southside of Indy?

      Generic reloading question

I think there is a little to be saved reloading your own, until you factor in your time. For me I enjoy the process of reloading so the time is not an issue. I like the process of taking different components and using them to work together, like reloading, building a motor or building something...
