      1911 and a good lube

      I finally picked up my ATI Military 1911 45acp off of layaway. Have not had a chance to get to the range yet. But i have spent time fieldstripping it to get use to it. I have notice that after lubing with REM-OIL that i have used for years, that about every three days or so that the slide rails...

      By sept i'll have my 1911 picked up. i have been checking out 45acp ammo, but i'm not sure with fps standard ammo stops and +p starts. I have seen some at 950fps being called standard ammo and others 950fps being called a +p round. Can any one give me any info? Thanks

      Any one out there own either one of these hand guns? I was wondering if they hold up to a high round count as compared to a Glock 19,23 ? I've tried lookung on line,but was unable to find anything. Thanks
