      Talon Grips and EDC

      Talon grips are easy to apply. Follow the instructions and you can't go wrong. Remember the sandpaper textured ones are for range guns only, the rubber ones are for EDC.

      Favorite carry gun?

      My favorite carry gun is my S&W 686+ in a Lobo iwb holster, but that one gets less carry time than a Glock 30sf. I can shoot the 30 better and faster. Plus 11 rounds are more comforting than 7 rounds.

      Bad back picking up brass at the range

      Last time I went to the range there was an old timer there with one of those trash picker upper things. It seemed to work well, but he could only pick up 1-2 cases at a time.

      The shrinking concealed carry gun

      I can't carry a 1911 anymore due to my bad back. I've down sized some but I can't make the jump to a subcompact. Maybe when I can't tolerate carrying something a little more substantial I consider it.

      9mm Bird shot

      Never tried the 9 mm ones, but I did shoot a 4' copperhead with a 45 acp from about 6' away. The snake was very dead but there wasn't enough power to cycle the slide. So all you end up with is a single shot semi auto. Your best bet would be a 38 / 357 revolver. Load 2 or 3 snake shot loads...
