Funny you mention blast forwarding devices. I recently came across a shooter employing one on a 308. It was suprisingly effective! I had never seen one in action until then...very cool.
I shoot at Atterbury often and always enjoy my time there. They are more militant about safety than most ranges I have had experience with...but I don't really mind. A day at the range throwing copper is always good in my opinion...and my preference is for the RO's to take safety too...

I love the 6.5 Creedmoor! It's inherent accuracy and lack of recoil never cease to amaze me. My rifle is bordering on 0.3 MOA accuracy at 700 yards...and I am sure it's still capable of better...I'm definitely the rate-limiting factor. I've shot next to a 50 BMG bolt gun in high crosswinds...
