As much fun as a PCC is to shoot, trying to figure out where it fits in.

It seems like you've already made all the judgements about who I am and where I came from that you're interested in "knowing". I think your response says a lot more about you than it does about me and I think it says a lot about this site that you're a mod here. I'm relatively new here and I...

As much fun as a PCC is to shoot, trying to figure out where it fits in.

I have a Scorpion with 4 mags downstairs. All loaded with 124gr Hydra Shock +Ps and one mag of monolithic solid copper hollow points in reserve. On the couch is an FK BRNO PSD in 7.5FK loaded with S95s with an extra mag of solid copper F5s. Upstairs by the bed is a Tooth and Nail Armory MKA 1919...

I may have inadvertantly jammed both PCC threads together...Lol.

I read the OPs question as "where to PCCs fit" and I thought that a practical defense application was implied in the question. There was a lot of discussion about other platforms commonly proposed for practical defense and I was trying to contribute by getting an idea of our different opinions...

This is the question that I'm curious about because I think we all have different answers that are related to how we think of things like PCCs. What's your personal worst case scenario?

That's not what I said at all. I think it's dumb to not have some sort of plan. I'm just saying that I read a lot of plans that sound like they're designed to repel a couple of boatloads of Somali pirates and not a couple of meth/crack heads looking for a TV.

I go there every time I play X Box but eventually I turn it off : )

DOJ/ATF Issues Letter, Seeks to Make Braced Pistols NFA Items

I still remember the last 2 groups of people who stood up to them. They killed the children of one with sniper fire and then burned the others alive on national television.

This is where I was waiting for this thread to go and maybe it necessitates its own thread, but I read here all the time and I'm often left in complete awe at the things that normal people living in small, unassuming, normal places seem to be readying themselves for. So that said, if you think...

Is PCC the way to go?

The trigger on both of my previous .40s broke between 9 and 10lbs and it did so after a terribly "knobby" uptake that felt like breaking a chicken leg bone. After the upgrade it was like a slightly longer CZ trigger pull of about 4lbs but I polished it down to about 3lbs with Flitz. If you don't...

Is PCC the way to go?

If you like it now with that awful polymer trigger group and the terrible paper thin polymer buffer, wait until you drop in a polished all metal trigger group and a delrin buffer. Replace everything polymer that's inside the gun and you'll be amazed how much smoother it runs. A stormtrooper...

Is PCC the way to go?

I'll 2nd that. I had 2 CX4s in .40cal over the years and both had the full Sierra Papa set of goodies. It's a good gun out of the box, but with the Sierra Papa upgrades it's amazing. It's enough to make you briefly forget how incredibly ugly a gun it is.

I can't comprehend the absurd tactical argument that PCCs have no real combat value. I know our schools aren't great, but does anyone else remember World War 2 or even Vietnam? How about the Swiss submachine gun that the U.S. Army bought a ton of just last year? If there's no real use for...

Is PCC the way to go?

I have a some kerosene to throw onto this one. I just got an FK BRNO PSD in 7.5FK. It fires a 95 grain solid machined copper, discarding leaf hollow point penetrator round at 2000 feet per second and can punch almost any armor out there. It's like a Dessert Eagle f***ed an AK 47. My wife HATES...

      FK BRNO PSD

Not that I've heard. Sadly there's not enough barrel sticking out where you could thread a stock barrel so it'd have to come feom the factory. The thing that already exists that we can't have yet is the stock. The magwell is cut for a snap on stock that basically converts this thing to a pdw...

      Plastic Gun Show-N-Tell

I finally got my FK BRNO PSD. It's a serious hand cannon. It looks and feels like someone at Ferrari bought a Dessert Eagle and took it to work to "make it beautiful".

CCP M2 above for size comparison.

      FK BRNO PSD

Ok, it's here and OMG is it an impressive weapon. I've never seen anything machined this perfectly before. The action moves like it's an artillery piece. The fit of the parts is incredibly tight to the point where disassembly and reassembly almost feel like they're not supposed to happen, but...

I have a JPE AGB on my AR and my wife's has an Odinworks. I like the Odinworks design a lot better. I think it looks better too.
