No personal experience, but it seems like this would be a great application for 3d printing. Get a basic design to hold the sensor and then you can tweak the placement as needed.
Yeah, as it should be. Just as it would be ridiculous for your gun shop to charge an additional transfer fee, you're already buying from the bass pro/cabelas with the transfer priced in.
Honestly, this is more of a you question. If you bought it now, and then see it come up for sale in a month for $50 less, would you be fine with it since you've had for longer, or would you be kicking yourself for paying extra?
Not sure if this is what exactly what you're looking for, but it's 480 + 20 shipped

Not sure why the link says used, doesn't mention it in the description. Might be worth double checking if you're actually interested
I'm not in your area, but I would think that you should be able to find something in the 15-20 range, which I'd expect to be a kitchen table FFL (vs a store). I know GunBroker has a list, you might be able find others elsewhere.
Not sure what site you're looking at for the gun itself, but...
Studies do show that food allergies are more common nowadays, but I can't even begin to speculate on why that is. There are some guesses by the experts, but from what I could find, none of them have enough evidence to be conclusive.
Please share what you've read that claim the increase in gluten, because I've found multiple academic sources that it hasn't really changed.

High gluten flour isn't some bogeyman either...
The post above me covered a good deal, but I wanted to mention the savage mark ii is also a decent choice and is usually a bit less than than CZs if that's a concern.
By itself, you're right, it isn't. But your transfer is not the only record an FFL has to keep. They already keep a bound book, paper forms, etc. Since they're already set up for it, I'd guess that adding another record isn't a big deal.
The problem with rk is that unless you're buying something like <$300, sales tax is probably going to end up being more than the transfer fee elsewhere ($25 in my example)
I've been meaning to check them out when I'm in the area. I remember seeing them online for a bit but only realizing fairly recently that they're local to me
Do you specifically want a revolver? There are semi auto 9s in a similar price range that'll also be cheaper to practice with (Walther PPS, some of the polymer CZs, PSA dagger, the Taurus g2c/g3c, to name a few)
