      2016 centerfire deer rifle push?

I find it interesting that nobody talks about youth hunting in all of this. I have taken my two sons to Kentucky the past several years, and my oldest son shot his first deer with a youth model 243. Kentucky benefits economically from our deer regs - I spent quite a bit of money on lodging...

      Fort Wayne Area Reloading Supplies

Isn't Sinclair International still in New Haven? Been a couple years since I bought anything in their shop. Did they move when Brownells bought them out?

Is American Eagle 223 brass as good as LC'09?

I've got a 223AI enroute, and need to pick up some brass. My bud just ran 600 rounds of American Eagle 223 ammo through his AR, so that might work. I am just curious whether it is as good as Lake City '09 brass? Thanks!

WTS: Win 70 deer rifle chambered in 358 Indiana Deer Cartridge (WSSM)

It will carry 1,000 lb ft of energy out to 300 yards. Effective range could be a little more than that if you wished, but 300 yards is all the farther I will shoot.

WTS: Win 70 deer rifle chambered in 358 Indiana Deer Cartridge (WSSM)

I've got two 358 WSSM's and this one has to go. Proposed Deer Rule Changes

I think they are shortening the firearms and muzzleloader seasons, and moving the firearms season back a week, to increase the quality deer management and be more like Illinois and Iowa (don't hear too many people complain about their short seasons). I think with this move Indiana will become...

Looking for info on long range 44 bullet for deer hunting

I've used Barnes bullets in my muzzleloader with great success - reckon they'd work well out of a 445 supermag? 200 grain XPB has SD of .155 and BC of .138, while the 225 grain XPB has SD of .175 and BC of .195. Those barnes bullets flat go through any deer I've ever shot...

      Nosler E-Tip....?

Right now Shooter's Pro Shop has the 25 cal 100 grain e-tips on sale for $12/50 for their factory seconds. Realize they're not the .243 but thought I'd pass the info along.

      Blackhorn 209

I've not switched yet, mainly because I have 2 lbs of 777 FFg sitting in the cabinet still unopened... BUT, friends of mine that have used it report the same results as 777 without the need to clean as often (especially with an Omega and barnes sabots). No crud ring is a big advantage. Claim...

Got a friend on the Shelby County Council, might just ask her about this. Also have a hunting buddy in Lafayette - when is the Tippecanoe County event this year?

Has anyone tried the Timney trigger in an 870 Remington?

I changed out the spring in both of my 1187's with one similar to this one: Remington Shotgun Trigger Spring for 870, 1100, 11-87 - eBay (item 230372411761 end time Jun-25-10 09:08:23 PDT) Really helped IMO.
