      Let’s see some pickups

Project Resurection... Here are mine, as of last Friday. 2003 Dodge, 5.9 Cummins, 186k miles, nick name 'Trusty Rusty', great work truck. On the trailer, longer story, I've thought about posting in Hot Rod thread: 1972 Chevy C10, Cheyenne. I'm the second owner. My first vehicle...

      Gunsite carbine class in Lebanon

My daughters and I just took Gunsite 150 this past weekend and I will say Lebanon's Police range is a VERY nice facility. The classroom is new, good lighting, comfortable chairs and tables with refrigerator. Running water with a single bath room (causing a bit of wait time with a large class)...

      Mini 14 mount

I've had good luck with Ultimak, for forward mounted scopes (scout scope) and red dots. Not sure about what's out there for conventional scope mounts. AK-47 Accessories, AK-47 Mini-14, Mini-30, M1 .30 Carbine Scout Scope Mount from UltiMAK

      Show us your Big Rig

Hey BT, I wish I could argue with the points you made but I can’t. All I can say is the industry as whole is getting better (I like to think Cummins is in the lead ) but, we've all learned a lot of painful lessons to getting to where we are today. I hope your new X15 backs this up...

      Graduation gun... what to choose?

Congratulations on achieving this milestone! And commemorating it with a quality purchase is a fantastic idea. If you guys are willing to shop a bit (surf gunbroker), you may be able to grab Les Baer TRS or Premier II. They work well for carry and competition. Good luck, Craig

      No Title

Well, I've seen how it turned out... And it turned out quite well. Vert shot the entire match left handed and did very well. Now, his times didn't set any records BUT, his hits were as good (if not better) than most. Facing adversity with a positive attitude is all any of us can do, and Vert...

South Central Gun Club April 2 USPSA Match

Once again, Max and the setup crew did a fantastic job. I've not been able to attend as many matches as I would like but, I had a blast today with Squad 1. And I think I actually shot a clean match! It was beautiful day to be on the range. SCGC is doing a great job with their facility...

      Best Breaded Tenderloin In Indiana

AGREED! If ever in Columbus, try the one at Ziggies (off US31, in Rural King shopping center). My favorite local T-loin. Thanks, Craig

      Need euchre ruling, stat!

I don't have a copy of Hoyle handy but, if your partner has enough trump to order, the dealer can infer the other team is trump deprived, therefore increasing the odds of loaner success... We love our family Christmas Euchre tournaments.

      Need euchre ruling, stat!

We play anyone can go alone, but has to be declared when it's your turn to order/name trump. Dealer can't call a loner on partner's order...

      The Official Hot Rod Thread

Branch Heads? When I get more time, I'll have to tell you the story of when I met the man, Jerry Branch. He gave me (just an enthusiastic kid at the time) a tour of his shop (dyno, flow bench, machine line) and treated me like I was his most important customer. This was ~1996 and he was THEE...

Training to Reholster: Look at holster ?

Hi Dusty, Thanks for taking the time to post your experience. The training community needs to be self-policing. I think the act of reholstering has been misunderstood and therefore miss-taught. The salient point is that one should strive to become familiar enough with their equipment that...

recommend handgun instructor for ccw with 1911

I'll throw in a hearty recommendation for Vert. I've worked and trained with him and he is more than capable of getting you started on the right path. And good on the OP for starting his journey by seeking instruction.
