    Interesting to see Springfield move away from the “billboard” style slide engraving to the more minimalist approach they are taking now (similar to Dan Wesson).

    Basically the same old TRP just with some different finish options (minus the aluminum framed 4.25” gun).

    I want more 1911 manufacturers to offer their guns already cut for RMR’s. Springfield even did it with a 10mm gun for a while.

    I'd consider one of these. How do they compare to the competition though? Back in the day a Dan Wesson Specialist would have had many of these same features.

    Interesting to see Springfield move away from the “billboard” style slide engraving to the more minimalist approach they are taking now (similar to Dan Wesson).
    They've been doing that for a while now. My "Loaded" is at least 5 years old, and has the smaller lettering on the slide. I much prefer the aesthetics to the older "billboard" thing they used to do.

    Range USA in Avon has them in stock. They are nice but wow $1900 is a high price tag. I have 3 TRPs, so I’m a big fan.
