Today while at a Verizon store in Greenwood I somehow locked my keys in my car. Thinking I will be facing a 70+ dollar bill to a lockout company I called Greenwood PD and asked if they performed lockout services. To my surprise they do as long as you are in city limits. They sent someone out within ten minutes and I helped the officer break into my car. There is a waiver to sign but the fact that they still "serve" as well as protect has earned them more respect from me. I didn't get the lady's name that helped me but her car was number 57. Thanks again. This along with being pulled over last weekend and the guy not fishing or even running my name through the system at 2 in the morning has me even happier about living here.

2am pullovers should probably lead to a system search. Nice of them to help with your car though. I like greenwood PD. Seems like crime is low enough they're not keyed up all the time, but they see enough to stay competent and professional.
