With Santa’s help, I finally finished modifying my Ruger 10/22! :):

The stock is a black Boyd’s Blaster, which I got on clearance as it was a special run and not part of their normal production.

The scope is a Bushnell Banner 3-9x.

The Barrel is an 18 inch Adams & Bennett.

The bolt handle and recoil spring assembly is by Power Custom.

Finally, I replaced the factory hammer with one from Volquartsen.

I have not had the chance to take it out with the new barrel and hammer, but I am looking forward to it!

does your boyds free float the barrel? I have a boyds tacticool and they state it doesn't free float the barrel, I wondered if it was the same for the blaster.

No, the barrel isn't free floated.

Make sure you take a wide variety of ammo to find out what shoots best. If grouping proves problematic you can float the barrel then bed the action and the first inch of barrel, that often works wonders in the Boyd stocks.
