Bought this rifle from a member here, just a standard 10/22, metal trigger group, had a pretty nice, older Redfield 3x-9x scope mounted on top. Bought a Volquartsen Carbon Fiber barrel and hogue stock, getting ready to buy a Leupold to mount on top and do some trigger work, should be a tree rat killin piece of equipment!!

Nice!!! I did about the same on my tree-rat killer. I like the lighter weight of the Hogue overmold and the carbon barrel. Makes for one easy swinging shooter! I did the polishing of the trigger group myself. Came out really nice. Added the quick mag release and modified the bolt hold open to work like a normal one. One of my favorite .22LRs!!!

You are going to love that thing!

Nice looking rifle. Good choice on the Leopold scope, mine wears a Leopold FX-1 4x28 rimfire scope. Great scope, love it. Wanted a straight 4 power scope on mine, my 77/22 wears a 3-9. Are you going to do the trigger work yourself or buy a kit? I put a Volquartsen trigger kit in mine and it did a great job. Makes a great limb-rat killer.

Very nice, but be careful. Once you've "done" a 10/22 you are likely to want to do another, and another, and...................:)

:+1:As soon as I finished my last one I started planning my next one.
Probably going to go with a Houge stock this time. I also have a Butler Creek folding stock I need to fill, and I still want to build one with a Blaster thumbhole stock. Looks like I need to find some more 10/22s.:D

Well it is done, for now, decided to drop the scope money on a Volquarsten trigger so the old BSA went on it for now.

Looks good! Where'd you pick up the stock?
Bought it from Midway, on sale for around $55 shipped to the house!

I posted it for sale in the classifieds, no luck selling it so I put it on my Ruger 77/22 then sold the rifle with that scope on it.

Thanks for all the compliments! Shoot a few rounds through it today, it is pretty slick!
