10/22 trigger upgrade

I figured I'd get enough responses here that I wouldn't have much heartache when I made the purchase. So far so good.

thought that might be the one. I thought about that one myself, but my regular Sunday morning gig won't let me get there early enough. IF push comes to shove, you can take the jard out of mine and use it in yours.

I put a Hornet Red Baron Trigger group in my "not your father's Ruger' build a few years ago. I am really pleased with how well it performs. It has a nice crisp 2.75 pound pull and a short crisp reset. It looks good with the gray laminate stock too!

I think I may try the Brimstone the next time I upgrade either another 10/22 or my Charger. The last time I went with a KIDD single stage that was suppose to be 1.5lb but I could not get it to adjusted that that weight. Add to that I wish the shape of the trigger was more like that of the 2 stage curved.

Brimestone is way better than the BX mag. My only complaint is the mag release, it is too sensitive, and if I hit the butt stock it slams forward. Reminds me of my days on the parade field with my A2!! I was 'that guy', who had that 'CLUNK'!!

Awesome! What parade deck did you grace with your presence?
The extended mag release is a bad idea, then? Or just as it comes back from brimstone? And are there two complaints? One about the bolt hold open feature and the second about the mag release or are they one in the same?
