I think oil lamp, lanterns, flashlights, candles and all the other similar items should be all under the same number. I wouldn't be picky on which I'd rather have. If it's all there for the taking (legally), I'm grabbing it.

I wonder how the whosits and whatsits will do when we have a National Katrina and the We Shoot if You Loot signs are everywhere? There are so many people not able to get any extra food each month. I tell all my friends that an extra 5lbs of rice and beans at the store might hit your cigarette money, but you won't be able to eat cigarettes when it happens.

Also, thanks for the link. It keeps all the people thinking in the right direction.

A very good list. Thanks for posting!

The list mentions a First Aid Kit but it doesn't specify the contents. A few items I would include are Iodine, Hydrogen Peroxide and Isopropyl Alcohol. The list is generally very "light" when it comes to any medicines such as anti-diarrhea, neosporin, benadryl, pain killers such as tylenol and ibruprophen, antacids, etc.
