We planted our grass this spring at our new home, and for the most part have a pretty decent stand of grass despite the heat and lack of rain this summer.

I was planning to put some 12-12-12 down this fall to help my yard continue to strengthen before winter, and to have some nitrogen in the ground for next spring.

Noticed it is going to be pretty dry next week. Any issues with putting it down going into the dry spell? In the past I've typically applied fertilizer dry, but before an expected rain in the next 24-48 hrs.
