Love the last sentence in the article. It says that the depositor's money is NOT at rish since the FDIC is backed by the government.

Off course they don't tell you the FDIC has 90 years to give you back your money.

While I do agree that it's a bit naive to fall back on the "FDIC will save us!", it is good that these poorly managed banks are being closed down before they swindle(even if the bank meant well) more people out of their money.

I'd rather have a National Bank controlled by The People, vs having some private dynasty family owned banks...
