I have spent the last couple days researching serial number ranges for S.C. 1903a3s. Most commonly found start number is 3608000. I've looked at lowest serial encountered, and this one has me scratching my head. Pay no attention to those two $50 holes. (minus 50 per) Anyone have any idea or explanation ? Barrel is 5-43 four groove S.C. with flaming bomb no "prick" mark. (arsenal rework proof ?) Bolt is 100% Remington. All thoughts welcome. I'll be on and offline tonight but wont abandon thread. Thanks, Dave
Edit to add, I can't see worth a poop. That looks like 359xxxx. It isn't, it is 369xxxx. I expanded the picture and could see it plain as day.
Disregard. It's where the base marked up the receiver. I was excited there for awhile.

    Picture removed.
