    I personally would rather get the gun I want and then fit it with a threaded barrel, however the Remington R1 it has a threaded barrel version with tall sights to use with a can, i don't know if they have one with a rail or not.

    Springfield MC Operator. Plainfield Shooting Supplies sells theirs around 1100$ Best railed 1911 for the money IMO.

    Ditch the threaded barrel. It's hard to do right on a 1911 from what I understand. Stick with what works on John Moses Browning's masterpiece.
