Thank you all for your input, I'm a big fan of the way the vz grips look and the wvwa grips as well.. problem is I only have one 1911... that problem is easily fixed though! I've been after an Ithaca 1911 for some time now!

I'm a big fan of the VZ Operator IIs and Aliens. Or anything VZ, really. Get on their email list and they send out discount codes pretty regularly. I'm sure there will be something for memorial day.

I like the Hogue grips. There is a nice swell on the grips that fits my large, man hands. The gun fits me tight like OJ Simpson's gloves... ha

The Hogue grips have a nice texture, they're super grippy even when sweaty, they won't break the bank either. I got mine from Midway for less than $15.

Here is a Pachmayer "American Legend" on a Turkish clone 45. Looks good and shoots like it's much more expensive cousin.

I've got Houge's on my EDC (came with them from Springfield) love the way they feel/perform but they are ugly as heck.
