I have a Taurus factory 8 round 1911 magazine. I disassembled it, cleaned it and put it back together.
It now only holds 7 rounds. It will not accept the 8th.
I disassembled it again, thinking I put something back incorrectly. No matter how I put this thing back together, it will only take 7 rounds. It USED to take 8 with no problems at all.
I'm sure I've done something really boneheaded, but for the life of me, I just can't seem to figure it out. I mean, there are only so many ways this thing can be put together and still function, but it WILL NOT accept 8 rounds, only 7.
