    If i can get a Springfield 1911 model # PX9142LP for 500 dollars.......is it worth it. What do you think. It comes with 2 mags, cleaner 2 holsters houg grips stock grips.

    That would be the GI Champion (Commander size), these sell for $510 NIB on gunbroker. I would say it is an ok deal with the extras the one you are looking at comes with (if at least one holster is a good leather holster), especially if you are buying from an individual and avoiding sales tax.

    500 on that model is msrp and is close to our standard price. the two mag part is not special for extra mags are a dime a dozen. If i had one it would sell to you at 475 new

    As I said it being an ok deal depends on the holsters in a large part, a good DeSantis piece of leather will set you back 60 bucks with others like Kramer being higher. Also from an business the sales tax is 35 bucks. And the Hogue grips can always be sold if you don't like them. So it really does depend on the quality of what it comes with.
