Thanks. Got it at a 1500 a few years ago. Supposedly has a shelf life of over 15 years. It's actually pretty good too

OK, I am a newbie here, but I've had a number of 1911's over the years, Here's an 'almost up to date' family photo. Ranging from My Springfield V-16 45 Super to a couple of Turkish clones.

She's gorgeous! Did you just get her? She looks to be in mint condition. How does she shoot?

AllenM was working on it for 4-5 weeks IIRC. He did a total makeover, it was stainless originally. It has all Ed Brown internals, tons of machine work, and a beautiful cerakote job. It shoots better than it looks, just like all 1911's, they make even the most inexperienced shooters, look like they know how to shoot .

Well, with lots of thought and time to think, and because somebody swooped in and bought a Delta Elite I was planning on buying at the 1500 (I hate you whoever did it ), This followed me home today. This will be a before picture, its going to look a whole lot different soon!

Thanks it's the best shooting out of the box 1911 i have ever shot. Quarter size groups at 20yds. Just having problems finding a holster for it.
