1911 SPRINGFIELD

Hope this the place for this. A friend of mine is looking to purchase a 1911 EMP Springfield. At the open house for Midwest guns, they were showing this one but can't get it. Anyone know where he might be able to order one??? Thanks

He might want to do some serious reading on some of the 1911 forums before deciding for sure on an EMP. Seems like an awful lot of people have had some 'bugs" that require a trip back to the factory before their gun will run right. It always seems to be reported that Springfield takes care of it, but those are a fairly expensive pistol to have to send in to be made to run right, IMO. Good luck.
