For sale is 1926 Tula Mosin 91/30 rifle.
Hex receiver with markings of the 1st Ordinance Factory of the USSR (used only in mid 1920s), laminated stock. Standard butt plate was replaced with rubber one (does nothing for recoil, but adds 1” to the pull length), but I still have the original steel one. Stock has some scratches and a hairline crack repair (see photos). Bore is not mirror shiny, but in very good shape. Rifle never failed to load, fire, or extract in the 14 years that I owned it. PM with any questions.
The gun comes with some extras:
1. Standard Mosin stuff: sling, bayonet, cleaning kit, two ammo pouches, and oilier.
2. Front sight adjusting tool (one of the nicer ones with adjusting bolts on both sides).
3. .30 cal bore snake (opened, but never used)
4. About 100 rounds or so of assorted ammo – mil surplus and Bear.
Asking $425 for everything. No trade interest at this time.
Will meet FTF anywhere between Greenwood and Franklin.
