Here is another from my personal collection. This is a Remington Score Master Model 511 from February 1948. This shoots 22 shorts, longs, and long rifle from a 6-round box magazine. Larger capacity magazines are available.
This one is in good working condition. The stock has marks on the butt on one side that looks like a PO might have tried decorating with a wood burner? It is also drilled for sling studs although none are included.
As with all of these older Remingtons, this one shoots great and functions well. These are classic rifles that are solid and built to last. It will make someone a very nice shooter at a reasonable price for quality steel and walnut. Asking $225 in or around Orange County (French Lick). Christmas one-time price drop to $200.
