Interesting drill I learned about a few weeks ago that I have been practicing. The 2-2-2 drill consists of firing off two shots in two seconds from a distance of 20 feet. The target is a standard size index card. You draw from concealment. The best I have gotten is the two shots in 2.52 seconds with my S&W Sigma 9mm. Just something to try out at the range.

This is a drill popularized of late by Dave Spaulding. He got it from an SF guys he was in a class with. Dave runs it in his classes and if you make it you get a coin. He has given out very few coins. Though I can do it more often than not in practice, in class I failed. You get one chance that is it. We had a guy in that class do it without concealment on day one, but when it was for real on day two with concealment, no dice.
