    597 only is SPF. Shotgun is still available.

    Next i have an older (1960's?) 12 gauge humpback, has the duck engraving on one side and pheasants on the other. Overall in good condition. Bought this from a friend who has owned it since he was a kid, hasn't been shot by me yet.

    When you say "humpback" are you referring to the Remington Model 11? They stopped making them in the '40's. So, it's at least that old if it was the last one made.


    If you could get some pics of it, I would like to look at them.

    Hopefully Combsie won't mind me posting but I want to make sure that any one interested in the Remington Model 11 knows that I did not reject it in any way. I contacted him ahead of us meeting to ask about backing out of the shotgun as I just don't have room for it. I had an Id moment and jumped before I thought about it. He was nice about it and brought it any way.
    It is a nice gun and I wish I could have justified the purchase.

    I'm pretty sure it's a 1948 Model 11 Sportsman. The action was smooth and it functioned well.
