Wesley Clark, a 4-star general, said that in the days following 9/11/2001, he was informed that the U.S. was planning wars with Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, & Iran. The elites seem to be sticking to their agenda, but delayed their timeline a bit.

Iraq and Libya have already received democracy.
U.S. troops are building up in Sudan.
Syria could be attacked any day now.
Iran will be soon after.

Heck that latest report on yahoo news that says by 2030 the us won't be #1 and water will be an issue for some parts of the world. Back in 2000 that report was being briefed to DOD at the confidential level.

Its in our (usa) best interest to have a plan for every possible situation some of them are really out there *cough* attack by not from earth forces *cough*.

Gen. Wesley Clark retired from the Army in May of 2000. While he had been SACEUR, iIf there's even a kernel of truth in Clark's claims (which I have my doubts about), what he describes is a MAJOR failure of OpSec, by a flag officer, mere days after an act of war.

Frankly nothing in the video makes a hell of a lot of sense. Why go to war with Sudan post-9/11 - the whole world stood by and watched a genocide occur. Why Libya - Gadaffi loved Condi Rice and oh by the way, the US normalized relations with Libya during the Bush Administration. Why Somalia - "Black Hawk Down" is all many Americans know about Somalia.

But hey, it sure fires up the tinfoil hat crowd...

Again the planners plan for every possible situtaion.
Sometimes the guidance is use these parameters (ie. China has nukes europe; or there is no more oil in middle east). Other times its no parameters anything goes just no nukes.

Some plans are short term 1-3 years others are long terms.

There are several plans on how to invade canada, mexico, do a world conquer. There are plans on us vs china as well. Nothing new here.

As Jedi stated, we have plans for most everything. Sometimes plans get updated, and dusted off, sometimes they sit on the shelf until too late (think Grenada, we invaded there, and were using travel maps, as we didnt have current military maps at the time). There are all sorts of war type plans out there, and thousands of scenarios that commanders themselves think up while training that is used as well. So, millions and millions of plans have been thought up, and millions and millions will sit on the computers collecting electronic dust, because those scenarios will not happen in our lifetime. As stated, we probably have plans for invading Canada or Mexico in case wild nukes, or in case of this, or that, or thousand of other things. There are way better and more serious things to be scared of then people wargaming any and everything.

No personal knowledge of what the cia does/plans. DOD on the other hand do plan for everything. Some of those plan are outright crazY.
