2010 predictions

Being the eternal optimist, I humbly submit 7 predictions for 2010...
1. I suspect the economy has not yet bottomed out and there will be increased job loses and layoffs. I really hope I'm wrong.
2. The government will continue to acquire more businesses under the bailout excuse further moving the country to a socialist environment.
3. Our liberties will continue to be slowly taken in the name of political correctness.
4. House resolution HR-2254 will be defeated thereby continuing denying Navy Vietnam Vets coverage for Agent Orange exposure.
5. Michael Jackson will be declared a saint, a new religion will be established.
6. The Colts will announce they are moving to California. Or Arizona. Irsay will follow his fathers footsteps and have a meltdown on local media, deny everything, then move the team to Los Angeles in the dead of winter at midnight using Mayflower. (ok,maybe not 2010, but soon - make a note)
7. The current renter in the white house will win another Nobel prize, an Oscar, Emmy, Tony and the Boston Marathon.
I'm actually a pretty cheerful kind of guy, really.

Hmm...well, here's a few of my own:
- Economy will show improvement, and we'll see positive GDP growth, but unemployment will still stay fairly high, in the 8% + range. Many in Washington will take credit for the recovery, and use it to garner support for even more government spending to help drive unemployment down.
- Partisan politics will continue to strengthen, and folks will be continued to be pushed farther left or right, and called traitors for wanting to stay closer to the center.
- There will be some sort of major catastrophe in the US, either a natural disaster or terrorist attack that will leave the masses asking "How could this have happened - Please government, do more for us!"
- Pro-sports will have another major scandal by a prominent athlete
- Nothing will happen that significantly adversly impacts private firearm ownership (so no AWBII, gun grab, etc.)

In the name of national security and with the use of the liberally guided media broadcasting false fear; our rights will continue to be choked into submission 'for the greater good'.... just like it was in Britain.
We'll join that whole debauchery of the Non-sovereign country status that Europe just delved into.
The economy will continue to sink in order to allow for more of the above. (read first two)
I will graduate from college only to start another program and degree in hopes of finding a job.
I will pray even harder that my children don't have to take up arms just to survive in their lifetime.
I will pray that I don't have to take up arms in hopes of staving off the onslaught of hording, rioting and in defense of my families right to simply LIVE!

- INGO Merchandise website will finally be 100% up and running but shortly after will crash and need a new server after such unpredicted popularity.
- SE will have another 10,000 posts, all with almost no true contribution to the site.
- ATM will receive a Gold badge after making most of INGO actually LOL.
- INGO will buy yet another server due to increased membership but only after Scutter explains over and over the reason the site is a bit slower during peak hours.
- VDPDblue and Shooter521 will have a Ban Hammer Showdown and see who can ban the most members. (Fenway will veto)
- One or two INGO members will get married, some will have children, and we will have some divorces also.
- OC will finally become mainstream as most members will quite fighting the Glock Supremacy and won't want to hide their firearms anymore.
- Someone will get pulled over for "insert vehicle law here" and start a thread about how much they hate cops and how the LEO should have been better off spending their time arrest Colombian Drug Dealers and Pedophiles.
- Redneckmedic's Trauma Class will be the biggest even of the 2010 schedule and will be on page one in the training threads for at least 1 day!
