Congrats to DK. He is awesome.

When I grow up, I want to be just like him.

I have been interested in action pistol for a long time but have let other interests keep me away. I have a Bob Cogan built PPC gun and have been talking with Bob about converting it to Bianchi/Action pistol type.

I think I will take the plunge since PPC doesn't interest me anymore.

You guys still eat lots of donuts at action pistol matches. Right? I am all about donuts.:):

Why do you insist on linking me with Rob?? I have done something to you in a former life?:)

Sorry Coach. It's just that, unlike Jake, I don't have many things that trip your trigger:): I guess I've worn that one out:dunno:

To those that are wondering what the hell we're talking about********* my lips are sealed.

If I am reading this right Doug had a perfect 1920 points, and 187 X

meaning he only had 5 rounds not hit the X out of 192 rounds fired. And it looks like that was in event 3 which I believe was the mover.
That almost ties his world record last year of 1920/188X

Pretty damn impressive and must be done with a pretty accurate gun, GH2 is a little modest but he is the guy that fit both barrels for Doug Koenig in his guns before this match.

That Target has a black center X that measures 4 inches in diameter shot at from ranges of 10-50 yards

I'd say we owe props to Indiana's Tony Holmes on his 4th place finish. He's up there with the best of em.
    Nice job Tony.

I'm happy to see Tony's finish. I believe that is the first 1920 he's shot at the Cup, too.

It's also nice to see New Zealand's Karl Piper up there, too.

Yes because of his Indiana connection by way of New Zealand?

Nice job to Tony Holmes, maybe he will stick with Action Piston and stop kicking my butt in Limited

Also Rob Leatham is the first person to win all 3 divisions, he shot in Production and won it shooting an XD.
That gives him win in Open, Metallic and now Production

    Nice job Tony.

We shot the practice NRA AP match at Wildcat earlier this month. I'm going to take credit for part of his success by demonstrating what not to do. Especially on the plates. He watched me shoot at 15,20, and 25 yards and when I turned around, he was miming a trigger press at me. Too bad I couldn't get my brain to press the trigger directly to rear without disturbing the alignment of the gun consistently while I was actually shooting!

I'm eagerly waiting for someone to score 1920 at the Cup with metallic sights. Leatham and a couple of others have come close!
